Go to main menu and then you can select a PCSS in graphic options.

Works for me. I'm using GTX 980 and driver 355.98. It seems you cannot toggle PCSS in-game (toggle it in title screen is fine).

how do you think im trying to? heh. I am in the graphics options but PCSS is greyed out. It's not greyed out in other games

You have to choose the setting before you load into a game. Can't be toggled in-game.

I got a gtx 980 too and I installed the latest 362.00 drivers works awesome. The shadows are way more realistic.

Yep, PCSS is a nice feature.
Works also great with 361.43.

Dunno why, but sometimes my fps drops here and there when PCSS is on.

GTX 970 (Zotac)

FX-8350

8gb RAM (Corsair)

The shadows do look nice, but sometimes they seem a bit too softened. I play at all high with film grain and DOF off. I even noticed that some of the foliage that was removed was now put back in.

Hello Vizionblind,

PCSS is greyed because probably Shadow Map Size isnt set to High.
