pcss shadows

i noticed when enabled i can get a 10 to 15 fps drop in certain areas. specs (4790k gtx 970 16gb ddr3 2400mhz)

GTX 980 I7 4790K 30 fps... Also i have a newest Driver which is for Dying Light.

of course it is going to kill fps what did you guys think it would do? add more fps? These kind of BS post processing and NVIDIA EXCLUSIVE CRAP has been ruining games for years even physx in borderlands runs like crap. The only way to play this game or better yet any game with everything max with PHYSX AND CRAPWORKS on is to have sli

Well. I played a KF2 in max settings with Nvidia Flex+ GameWorks and its running with 50/60 fps. But Dying Light 30 fps? Insane :p

I dont even like the PCSS shadows in this game i saw the comparrison screenshots on the official geforce page and i rather like the PCSS OFF looks better.
With PCSS the soften the shadow edges ,making the shadows more tarnished too..

I get around 90fps with everything maxed chrom off and pcss on in 1440p fx9370 2x980
