How long is the following?
How long is the DLC The Following?

Main missions? Plus side missions? 100% completion?

It depends on how you play, I tend not to rush and it took me around a week to get to the end Mission, but you can keep playing after that, It also warns you before going on the last mission, so if you do not want to you can keep playing before completeing the last mission. There are 3 endings so if you felt like it, you could replay from scratch, there are quite a lot of side quests and infinate random encounters.

It is quite a good DLC, play it on Nightmare and you get even more out of it, the Buggy Upgrading is fun, and the Buggy handles really well. There is also a new Legend Level so you can increase things like Damage etc.

My stats:

Time played: 34h 04m 30s
Story: 100%
Completion: 95%

I believe there are 12 main missions and around 33 side quests.

I think I'm on about 20 hours, and have just a couple side missions to do. I'd say about 25, because I played with 1 other in coop. For 100% completion that is.

so 5-35 hours. sounds good. I have too many games to play #firstworldproblems want to finish this then get onto the next one.

This is all player dependent.

I just got done playing about 3 hours in nightmare mode, running over zombies and gathering air drops for the legendary level ups. Didn't do a single quest.

Some might call this grinding/farming. Still fun.

Merkavar, don't rush. I think the time they are talking about is in normal mode. If you play in nightmare mode, you get much more back. I mean you will find your heart pumping more when playing in nightmare mode. I was thinkng like you. And I ended up stuck in one of the early mission where I had just a few health kits, no fuel and no screws to repair the buggy. You see, I still have Fallout 4 to finish. I had finished Fallout 4 with two of the factions. I wanted the finish the game with all the factions so that I can experience all the endings myself. After doing it with Minutemen and then the RailwayRoad, I need to do BOS and then the Institute. But Dying Light enhanced edition and The Following came out. So, I tried to rush it. But The Following was designed not to allow you to rush or you will die and lose all your legend skill point. I know, I know, I still have 4 other games that I bought from Steam during big sale to play. But I never got started with them. They are just not the same class as Fallout 4 and Dying Light, even with all the bugs these two games have had or still have. I mean, ok, you can still finish the game by rushing a little, but you will really miss a lot of the fun. I really don't understand why some players wanted to cheat to get 250 lvl in Legend. OK, that their way of enjoying the game, but they really will miss a lot from the game if play legitimately. Just my 2 cent of thoughts. Good hunting and Good luck.
