Underwater Algae in The Following

Has anyone found or know where to find underwater algae in The Following? I don't see any map markers for it. Any help would be appreciated.

Only place I found it is at the very bottom of a cave under a temple. Its a long dove down but theres a ton located there.

Top left corner, you can see the temple on the map (rectangle).

I'm pretty sure I've seen some in the regular water as well, on the eastern coast, and there is a symbol or two for it over there.

We're talking about the "mother's" temple, right? (Unless you just started talking about something else, and didn't mention it)
That's at the bottom of the map, if I remember correctly.
Bottom left, I think.

I found some west of the grain silos, it should appear on the map.

In the Mother's Temple, when you reach that cavern with the multi-leveled sets of stairs extends to the top of the temple, you can find a whole bunch of algae at the bottom of that cavern. Just look down off the side of the stairs and you'll see the drop. You can either use the rock platforms to get down, or you can just dive into the water too make it faster.

Also, there may or may not be a chest down there amongst the algae. Should check it out..

I looked everywhere for that chest in the cavern 'amongst the algae', didn't see anything. Only the algae. Didn't see a chest on the climb back up either. Have I been trolled? o.O
