How is the unarmed legendary skill?
Playing in nightmare I see that my bow (regular blue bow from a shop) takes about 3-4 headshots to down a regular zombie and wondered if speccing in unarmed would make my fists more usefull to melee weapons or bows/guns?

If your bow is taking 4 headshots, invest in the bow damage skill, it's an increase of 40% per point, so after 15-20 points it would pretty much be guaranteed 1 shot headshots.

Not that you did listen to his Questions tho??? You missed it completely as well!
There's no way to compare them, since we don't know how much damage unarmed does by default.

With full unarmed, charging a punch and hitting the head can kill in one hit.

One Finger Deathpunch
So only after spending about 25 points that it becomes viable?

Bump. Anybody spent many points in unarmed?

i wouldnt bother. apparently its supposed to affect ALL unarmed skills like drop kick tackle etc. but if thats true then x225 means i drop kicked that zombie 225 times... and it survived one drop kick. makes no sense. even if its only punches pretty sure 225 punches would kill a zombie in nightmare. soo....

I have unarmed maxed. Zombies in the Countryside usually take 3 punches to kill on Normal. When I was playing in Harran, some of them would die in one hit to the head.

ya if this is true youre better off just using the bow or xbow and using a normal bolt to the head and pick it up again. cause 3 shot on normal means at the very least doulbe the time to kill on nightmare. doesnt seem #wurf.

No, but it is fun.

I thought so, so I went and invested in bow damage but even at +200% damage, regular zombies (playing nightmare) can take up to 2-3 headshots considering it's pretty hard to aim as the arrow does like 5m then falls flat on the ground (even when I pull/hold the arrow to the max). On the other hand, I can use the purple semi-auto shotty with 8 shots and 2,3k damage base without any points in firearms that I bought to kill 2-3 zombies with a single shot... that thing is going to be OP as hell once I maxed firearm damage -_-

TL:DR: is it me or weapons' categories are severly unbalanced to each others (ie: melee vs unarmed vs bow vs firearms) ?

Ranged weapons are much better than melee ones. Something that takes me three hits with a melee weapon will take one shot from a crossbow with similar damage.

How is the cossbow compared to the regular bow? Does it have more range (cuz the regular really has ♥♥♥♥ range lol arrows fall down after 5m)?
