Strange Rocks Bug? Cannot place final stone!

Was hoping someone could give me a hand here. I collected the rocks yesterday and while placing them seemed to miss one. I retraced and made sure i got them all. I DO, yet it will now allow me to place the final stone. PLEASE HELP!!!

i have the same problem but it only lets me place 3 even though i've collected all of them.
did you find a solution?

You lose all your collected but not placed rocks by leaving the session !!!
You also can lose them, when an other player join your game and leave your session again or crash out !!!

Tip: Do it alone, or with friends and make sure, nobody leave the session before you have placed the collected rocks !!! - Placed rocks will stay there, other ons you have to go for again

In your special case, go for the first rock you found again, if you lost just one, it should be this one ;-)

yea we played coop but even tho no one dropped out or left the session only the stone picked up by the host persisted, the ones i picked up couldn't be placed and i then dropped out to see if that would help and found that the stones had reverted back to their spawning locations.

none of us had the strenght to go find all of them again lol

I also tried once to do it with a friend, we catch them all together, once he dropped out and we could simply place three rocks.

But you can collect and place them all and then call in your friends, activate it together(get blueprint for ALIEN-GUN-AMMO) and go further to the UFO (get blueprint for the ALIEN-GUN), that works.

Best way to make sure, you don't lose them, is placing them, if you got some together, so you also know, which ons you have or you have to research again because they got lost

had to relog and find the first rock i picked up, then go back to place it again. little tedious but i fixed this next day (: ezpz.

thats not that tedious, being forced to pick up 13 stones.. again.. that's tedious lol
but i'll probably do it after the weekend or something. i'm definitely doing it in single player next time
