Bad Fps Even with above recommended system requirements

I have a better gpu and cpu that is recommended to play the game but i cant play the game at a stable framerate. It will randomly go to 5-30 fps. Ive tried lowering the graphics and resolution but it doesnt make a noticible difference

Still ran pretty bad, but i found out that my game runs worse the longer i play it. When i first open the game it runs at 50 - 60 fps but after playing for 30 mins it went down to 20-30.

Monitor the temps. Maybe it's throttling. My CPU runs at 60 and GPU at 70. Kinda hot, if you look that it's Ryzen 7 5800X and RTX3070 at 1080p trying to run 8 years old game. But I have 144 FPS...

Gtx 1650 ti. Core i5 10300h. 8gb of ram. system reqs lab said i could run it and that i had recommended specs.

thats the problem right there. This game just doesn't play nicely with gaming laptops, no matter the specs

Even the devs cannot fix the issue, which is why on the steam store it states.

Its a fault with the underlying engine, one of the reasons they changed engines for the 2nd game.

Essentially you really should not buy if you have a laptop. You can go through the forum and try various fixes, however some people simply have issues regardless of what they try or how high a spec the laptop is.
