Super low FPS, don't know why.
I copied this from the same named reddit post I made,

Been playing for 5 hours according to steam, and lately fps has never been higher than 20 fps at this point, and now last time i played I was getting as low as 3 fps. I just got on one day and i can't get the 60 fps I was before. I really wanna know if anybody could help cause I didn't change any settings or nothing, just had it one day start getting really low fps.

Note: Specs are, 8gb ram, Nvidia gtx 1650, Intel i5-9300h.

The thing that fixed it for me was disabling 'Fullscreen Optimizations' on the application exe in the steam folder.

1. start the game
2. go to video settings
3. turn OFF vsync
4. turn OFF fullscreen and select windowed mode
5. restart the game but DO NOT change any video settings afger restarting
6. load your save
7. you should be now getting constant 60 fps
8. now you can turn ON both fullscreen and vsync

my laptop also has nvidia 1650.
the trick is to load the map with vsync off and in windowed mode.
works for me everytime.

Best way we found to fix the CPU for my friends and I was to turn the view distance to 0. It seemed to make zero impact in the actual game except making the frames skyrocket and CPU use plummet.

My laptop also run on 1650, but my problem was ssd overheat, had to remove my secondary ssd and install a heatsink, got like 120-150 fps now

Also, not to sound like a broken record as I seem to have to keep pointing this out. Laptop gpu;s are not officially support because they know some people have issues for no apparent reason using laptop gpu's. There is a bug in the underlying engine. Granted not everyone gets it, or those who have issues might have other things going on.

However at the end of the day, you may never get it running properly on a laptop gpu.
