The Ties That Bind glitch

This is the Following quest where you clear a volatile nest for Ezgi. I killed the two volatiles on the floor, and so the nest is inactive, but the quest isn't registering that I completed it... And now, whenever I enter that nest, the marker literally shifts between where the volatiles were and the entrance of the cave like a glitch. Every time I turn off the game, I have to "secure camping area" by standing in front of their camper, and I can't clear the volatile nest again because it's already cleared!!

I've found that when quests are bugged and it persists even through exiting the game and continuing, the only way to get around it is to find someone who has not completed the quest yet, have them host the game, then do the quest with them from the beginning.

Try to kill all zombies inside, including volatiles nests and volatiles themselves.

I did this. Killed everything inside the tunnel.. glitch persists. Objective marker keeps jumping from the entrance to inside the tunnel. ♥♥♥♥ it!! Too many glitches. This game is pissing me off.

Ok, so ran in and out of the tunnel a few times, seemed to activate the objective... stupid bug.
