Random Looping Explosion Sound?

I was driving by the town in the Countryside and randomly heard a huge explosion from over the hill. I shruged it off as a Demolisher or something and kept driving, but then heard it again about 10 seconds later. And again. And again.
So I figured I migth as well track it down, and eventually narrowed it down to the general area immediately on the otehr side of this truck:

There was actually a Demolisher nearby, but it definitely wasn't the cause. Especially since it continued after I killed it.
No virals, particle effects, or anything of the sort.

Never had this bug before, and it's really not much of an issue, but I'm kind of curious about it. Has anyone else had something similar?

I keep hearing it too at the same location. Leaving the game and coming back again should fix it.
