What can you bring along?...
I'll soon be done with Dying Light and moving on to Dying Light: The Following. I've heard that you can transfer your character from Dying Light along with his skill point stats to The Following and I saw a video where the player was using all orange upgraded weapons like Premium Katanas with Angel Sword and Kings.

So now I'm wondering: How much can you bring with you of the stuff you have gathered and bought in Dying Light? Will your Stash Bag along with it's contents be transferred with your character? Or will you perhaps be able to bring along 'only' what you can carry in your inventory?

Since there wouldn't be much point in saving all my best weapons and my Kings blueprints if I can't take them with me to The Following I'll be really happy if somebody can answer my questions.

Thanks in advance. :)

You can take all gear, skills, weapons, blueprints, resources, etc. Even better yet, you can take all but the buggy back to the main game from the DLC. Which means you can now use the bow and crossbow in Slums and Old Town.

Yes, as the other said, everything, and I mean everything in your inventory, your skills are "transferred". The key is that when you start a new "The Following" game, the game will automatically choose your latest saved game and start the game with whatever the character has. Now, this is the key point, you HAVE start a new "The Following" game with a saved game from the base game. So, if you want the challenge, you can start a new "The Following" game with NOTHING. I am doing one at the moment, in nightmare mode. It had been very challenging and fun. Well, you have to plan what to do in order to level up your basic skills - Power, Suvival, agility, driver and Legend. Your legend skill tree won't start until you are max out in on of the other skills. The easiest one is driving but you have to be patient as you have to keep driving to smash zombies to level up driver skill. Then it will be either power or Survival. Please remember, in nightmare mode, if you die, you lose all your current XP. So, good luck and have fun.
