Raining during the day?

Is this an actual thing? Because I could really use some different weather from the infinite sunny days. Is there any way to make it actually rain more in the game?

I too wish for this, it rarely happens for me at all. Night is cool cause visibility is super low which adds to the tension factor, but yeah we need some more during daytime.

It rained much more during the day in some of the older versions, looks like devs changeg something. They could change it back because electric weapons work really great during the rain.

mostly rain comes after sunrise. that is mostly i saw rain in game when in day time.

I found some mod[www.nexusmods.com] that is supposed to change the weather cycle, still haven't tried it though, will post result when i do. But it looks like it's for some older version of game, also I guess you can't play in VAC secured if you use it.

I guess that mod still works fine.
I started at early morning, sky got dark around 3 p.m., sky turned dark, wind started to blow, it slowly started raining and around 4 p.m. there was storm going on. I hope it won't rain too much now.

edit: Yeah and, game was obviously talking about modified files, so you can't play with anyone who doesn't use that mod as well, at least that's what the game said, I didn't try it. Well I guess it's good only if you play solo or with friend who is willing to use it as well.
Also, my game crashed on second launch, that never happend before, but worked fine after, well if it makes problems, we have "verifing game cache" for a reason.

There's also a mod called Stormy Weather, which makes it stormy all the time.
