Survivor sense not working

hey guys tried to search that up on google but couldnt find ♥♥♥♥.
im playing with 2 friends coop on hard and the survivor sense doesnt show or highlight any
items even if im standing right in front of them.
is it intended that way on hard? or am i missing something

survivor sense only works on things like mission icons, vehicle location (the following DLC only), specific enemys, etc

its not meant for detecting supplies / looting

on hard and nightmare mode it doesnt show up anything its only for detecting virals

It shows arrows and bolts too.

it sure is meant for that but as the others said it depends on the difficulty. thx anyways

I saw the video on youtube where sense highlighted the quest items. I did the same, on middle difficulty, without any success.

On normal difficulty it will show loot items and pretty much everything important. You sure you didnt increase difficulty?

actually even higher difficulties SS somehow works, it alway shows volitiles, thought human enemies and best of all arrows/bolts you shot so you dont have to waste years looking for them
