Can't find the demo

so yeah i have not try dying light out before,which i really want,and for some reason can't find the demo of it? somebody maybe help,because i want too try the demo before i really buy it

Thanks a ton! I was searching for this for quite a while, it's odd there doesn't seem to be another way to get to the demo, I'm guessing since they removed the originial game (sans "the following")

you need to click on this steam://install/381570 when it take a form of the link, so to do this you can write a message to some of your friend in steam chat "steam://install/381570" and then just click in the chat window on this link by yourself

I know it's a kinda dead forum, but the reason why it doesn't work for some is because it won't let people that have NOT played the demo before it was removed to play it at all, it will direct them to the store page, regardless of the method to try and get the demo on steam. Although the people who have played the demo when it was available on the base game's store page, can re download the demo since they have a key code for it (yes, a key code.) My friend today couldn't obtain the demo since he never played it when it was available publicly. So I made a steam backup of the demo and gave him the USB with it on it, and when he tried to restore that backup, it asked for a CD key for the demo to begin the backup. Of course we couldn't do anything to get further than that. But I believe that's why some here can and some here can't play the demo now since it's (somewhat unnecessary) removal from the store.

For those, like myself, still looking to get the demo, I found that opening the Run prompt (Window key + R) and pasting steam://install/381570 into the prompt and running it caused Steam to download the demo.

yeah, it does not work no matter how you do it, the demo is gone
