Good for you, 4.99 and you get it all even if you own nothing, it's a f'ing 5er.
What can I get? I can't even complain.
Techland treated 'enhanced player' like trash.
Whining about buying dying light 2, to be fair mate that just shows you're commitment level, i would of and did buy it just because it's them, if you did not you are not a follower and dont deserve the extras end of.
I don't have a shortage of games to play right now and don't have a thirst for DL2, so I'd rather wait for the Definitive Edition of DL2. I actually pre-ordered the DL2 until the release of 2077.
Also, how much different is the Definitive game itself compared to the Enhanced, Platinum, whatever anyway? I don't think that there's any difference in terms of quality. I mean, when other devs release Definitive Editions, it usually means they are remasters of the original with improvements in terms of audio and visual quality, and the complete set of DLCs already included in the game if applicable, but in this case I don't think there's any difference in quality. Yeah, maybe you would get one extra DLC that you're missing, but is that DLC really something you would like to play with? If it doesn't interest you at all, you're practically all set as is. If you're like 1 DLC short and you actually are interested in that one extra DLC, just buy the missing DLC on sale and you're all done. Personally I couldn't care less what title of the game says as long as the content itself matches what I wanted, what I paid for.
And that is about how the pattern has been with most Techland Games.
Same also with Dishonored and most Arkane Studios made games.
In other words, since there is a patch to the DL 1 Game right now to be downloaded. And since the Platinum version is the Enhanced with all the DLC (whether or not you got Platinum Edition or not), it is possible even likely that with that UPDATE/Patch plus all the DLC, you may actually have the Definitive.
I am not aware, but I may be uninformed or wrong, of any actual claim or better graphics. Consider that.
In the past for DL, you could always via buying all the DLC basically create the game in pieces into the actual named Edition. (There was an exception once way back, when the Old Enhanced Edition didn't include The Following, and then it did later on, but that was truly their fault for using the same name for two different editions.)
