Rise of the Phoenix isn't that bad, it's all about practice and memory. At this point if I really try I can end up with 20~25 and a few more seconds left, and every single time without fail.

First. I play on M&K so holding shift with my pinky would cause trouble.
second. Practice and memory, yes. I am just sick and tired of being on the FINAL ledge with 1 sec. Have the game fart in my face and tell me to go back and do it again. Why is it 2:50? why not an even 3:00? would it really make the challenge easy? you still can't mince around you still need to know where your going.
And third. "Rise of the Phoenix isn't that bad, it's all about practice and memory. At this point if I really try I can end up with 20~25 and a few more seconds left, and every single time without fail."
is that with the dagger?
Seems my biggest obstacle is not the running part, but climbing the apartment building(the guard rail thing) and the tower.
Also I am doing it without the pyza suit.
No, in fact, without even Pyza Suit.
You simply need to practice, that's all. Sounds harsh but that's the only truth and the only thing you need to know.
Ignore the Pyza Suit, you can get even shorter time than that in video without Pyza Suit, see the latter part of pinned message.
You can just do this so Pyza Suit isn't necessary. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnQt071RvYw
If you want add and message me I'll do the bounty in your game and drop dagger.
Gave it a few more tries. Reached final ledge only to time out once or twice. But finally got it with about 2 sec to spare.
Thank god, bounty is a pain in the ass.
Thanks for the help BladeMaster
Also I was practicing tackling him without knocking him off, then valuting over his downed body to get across the gap faster.
That's good.
I tried jumping across but Crane ends up climbing the hard way taking more time so it didn't work for me. Tackling also ended up wasting more time for me.
Guess I got to max one handed weapons, oh well.
That one takes some time and patience, but in the end nothing too hard or complicated. Here are some things I recommend that got it done for me easily:
1. Be on Normal mode. Difficulty can be changed anytime from Main Menu > Play > Campaign > Save > Advanced. Important note, if you are going for difficulty outfit rewards then downgrading difficulty will break it.
2. Use area with overpopulated zombies, Infamy bridge was best for me. Alternatively you can use Stuffed Turtle, around the building (Near where red barrel with poured gas or whatever it is.) there are plenty grouped up zombies.
2.5. If you run out of zombie groups you can respawn them by sleeping at Fisherman's village (Next close to Infamy bridge) or tracking Stuffed Turtle quarantine zone and reloading save.
3. A weapon such as machete or sickle will be very useful. Personally for me, a blue rarity unupgraded without any blueprints weapon worked, despite me being at 100% story, and this is where most tougher and healthier enemies spawn.
3.2. It's better if you have skill-points put in Legend's One-Handed skill. But it's okay without it, as you can still get a good weapon from vendors or farming. If you want to level up Legend as fast as possible, there is fastest leveling up guide on my profile you can feel free to use.
In case if you have enough Legend points but have already spent it on other skills, it's possible to respec Legend skill-tree from it's menu, by default on keyboard it's C. You can find it easily if you check options while in Legend menu. Respeccing costs nothing and can be done whenever as many times as you want. Legend points can be added far quicker with Space + Enter spam.
3.5. The weapon doesn't have to be anything special, but you can get an orange weapon from farming GRE chests in quarantine zones (Better be on Normal mode, because higher difficulties decrease chances of finding purple and orange rarity weapons. Note, vendors won't sell orange rarity weaponry on Hard mode.) or simply purchase it from vendors, add some simple non rare upgrades to boost damage.
4. Tactics are simple, rush in group of enemies and slice at head / neck level.
5. It's not necessary to use firecrackers, since you'll be in area with already grouped enemies and you want them to be after you so it's easier for you to group them up for head chops, keep on walking and slicing them.
1. I am, Hard and nightmare boost enemy health so that one goes without saying.
2. Yup infamy bridge. Although I don't run out, I just go deeper into the bridge to spawn more. When I am done with a group I run back and collect all the packages the last group had, going back and forth getting heads and some supplies while I am at it.
3. I tried the machete, but other than having those tough stubborn zombies who won't die I also found it more difficult to reach three heads at once, at least if I am kiting them. I used a fireman and a hewing axe, worked for me.
3.2 yeah I was curious about that, can this be done at survivor 25 legend 0(or 0 point allocated) or is legend needed to get the damage to chop those tough zombie?
3.5 Whats a good damage number on a weapon? for me 2000+ got most zombies with a swing or 2(damn tough zombies).
4. I found aiming a little above their head to work, it still clipped the enemy infront of me enough to count and I did less body blows to those around him.
5. I used firecrackers to get my first fenris, but this sounds good too. I will give it a try.
Awesome contribution BladeMaster, thanks for everything!
Use Autohotkey or some other macro system to create a script that holds shift when you press W. This is much more comfortable for me, might be for you as well.
Have you read my post?
My problem is not pressing shift to run, its the game stopping my sprint for no reason and me having to constantly press shift to start running again.
This took seconds off a time trial I was doing, BladeMaster suggested HOLDING shift while I run to keep it from happening. I don't have a problem pressing shift, but holding it can be uncomfortable.
Also most games allow you to maintain sprint with one press, so its really not that uncommon.
