The whole plot point is that there are people in the country side who are supposedly "immune" to the virus, and since harran is running out of antizin(I would guess they gave crane a dose before sending him off) they wanted to see if this was true.
Later on you find out about this cult that has a "blessing" that purifies your blood and keeps you from turning, I don't know why or what happens next since I am not done with the DLC.
When he first drops he has weapons. Definitley a pistol, I believe he uses a knife at one point too. But his firing off the gun at the guys that attacked him on landing is what draws the zombies that bite him and eat that other dude. I think you're supposed to accept that it was him getting concused from being jumped that is the reason he can't handle himself and ends up infected.
Crane is UNATURALLY talented at parkour, even Rahim(or whats his name is, the kid who wanted to blow up the volatile nest) said so. And I doubt he got that skill without any training.
Furthermore crane seems fairly adept with firearms(I would assume everyone else had to train), and is suprisingly athletic.
Well, considering this virus makes volaties who are freaks of nature in term of EVERY category(speed, strength, durability etc) its a maybe.
Although I am still sticking to, everything crane learns in the game is for zombie apocalypse enviornment and he IS in fact a trained agent.
His physical abilities are amazing and he certainly has combat training. It’s just a shame he dropped out of school at 4 years old XD
But this game wasn't about characters or story at all. ^^
I either disliked The Following ending (both of them) and wonder what Dying Light 2 will be about.
Guess I won't buy it in an instant, rather wait how it will turn out.
Yet the gameplay aspect is that superior for me, that I really enjoy this game.
Even though I mostly suck at it. XD
