Crane is a complete idiot?! *Spoilers*
*SPOILERS BELOW*

-

So not only does Crane immediately burn the Antizin when asked by the extremely shady-sounding GRE woman (even though he himself is infected!) he then hides one bottle of Antizin in his shorts and...never uses it?

I'm in the museum now and Crane is having his 100th episode of seizures. Last time Brecken rescued me and Crane didn't even think to say "Hey I'm having seizures and need more Antizin." The Tower is literally giving Antizin out at the start, and even if they're low on it, we're supposed to believe they wouldn't give any to their *best runner* when they're giving it to total randomers who are sitting around eating all the food? o_0

Even the small amount of Antizin Rais gives you is apparently enough for "everyone for a few more days".

I mean, Crane's even single-handedly going into the museum to rescue Jade 3 days after having massive seizures and not getting his meds, and he thinks it's going to work out well?

Then Antizin becomes super important when Jade is infected and it becomes even more stupid...Crane has a dose of Antizin IN HIS FREAKING TROUSERS and yet he whines that there is none left and Jade dies. What. A. Clown.

Other than the main story this game was awesome, but I honestly don't know what the writers were thinking with the cringy and ridiculous death of Jade and the Antizin plot.

Yeah I always though he was dropping the ball there.

Could of at least stowed a few boxes in a drain pipe or something, I mean the Gre wanted it destroyed to force a meeting with Rais. He didn't really have to destroy is, just hide it and say he did.

Dude was still a lap dog at the beginning.
I don't think his character development really evolved into a strong moral concience until they told him to give Jade to Rais ~ " taking the fu**ing cake ".

I guess there is merit to what Rais always says.

"Tell me Mr. Crane, is this your choice? Or the choice of someone else"

Dude literally "just following orders" himself and most of the tower into the grave.

probably brain washed as an agent to always blindly follow orders and thats probably the reason they send him there so both plot twists are stupid actually
destroying the antizin instead of hiding it because he is following orders is fine if he follows those orders till the end but it turns out he changes mid way and therefore destryoing the antizin was the stupiest thing he could do so yea

on the other hand not going back to the GRE is stupid aswell I mean yea 100+ people there will die and all but its still betetr then a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ zombiue outbreak litereally threatening humanity so as a clear minded human being and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ top agent he should just leave and let them nuke the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ place
Twinkletoes Sep 7, 2018 @ 5:27pm
Until he learned that the GRE file he was chasing was to WEAPONIZE this threat to humanity which would make the whole letting the place get nuked moot as there would no doubt be more outbreaks like this.

Honestly shady corperations trying to weaponize zombies is becoming cliche.

Well thought.
The story is full of loopholes ;-)

I love Dying light but lets not pretend that most of the actions by the main characters made much sense outside of we need to keep the story moving forward.

The idea that anyone in their right mind wouldn't at least hide the Antizin after having being bitten at the beginning is beyond belief.

Also Rais is a comic book villain

I agree if I had a choice I would not have burned it either I would have lied. Crane dose get the drops restarted before we get to the museum, in my game he dose. Why do we not have any antizin on us when I find it all the time. As far as Jade goes. In Horror films people die for three reasons Fear, Greed, and just out in out stupidity, Usually by other's. If we had choice's we all would make different one's. But that still might not change the out come. The only choice you do have, is to develope your character enogh to survive the next challenge. When the story line has a fixed ending, it's fixed.

Top agent Crane, he was bitten in less than what 10 minutes. Sent in with no knife or gun. Crane was picked probably because, no one else would go, or even the janitor was to important to send in. A team extracts. One man distracts. Anyone who goes in dose not come out.
Poppi !! Sep 8, 2018 @ 9:15am
The GRE probobly assigned Crane because he was useless in the Mailroom and a Tom Clancy " fanboy ".

That always got me.

Its not even a plot story, he just starts out getting munched on. Its embarrasing.

Did the GRE not tell him a FREAKING zombie apocalypse is happening, I mean granted its ALOT to take in.

But "special agent Crane" could of at least put up a bit more of a fight. Maybe get bitten trying to save jade, like in memory of her brother or something.

He got bitten imediately. If you were told you would jump from a plane into outbreak of any kind, would you. I would ask myself why me. I'm not a doctor.
