i cant find gas tank zombies for the event challenge

they just dont spawn. went to the bridge, bozak ones dont count towards it, been searching for hours

I got mine in the slums, in the train yard. Just shambling by the trains :)

If you're talking about the Tolga & Fatin event, try heading to Old Town and go to Three Moons Restaurant (It's near Tobias' shop) Gas Tanks always seem to spawn more frequently there along with some cop zombies.

If you want easy gas tanks, go between stuffed turtle and the oil station safe house. In between those two is a bus with the base of a zip line planted to it's side. If you go a little further and onto the train tracks, you will find an area with two frogs, four gas tanks, and one goon. I highly recommend using bows or any ranged weapon for this.
