Disabling the hud for one.
May also be a mod for disabling that...unsure on that one.
The "miniHUD" mod hides the quest objectives (and many other things) so search that mod's file for references to "hide quest objective" and copy those changes to your copy of "hud.xui".
The author of that mod forgot about the bounty description though. I figured that out on my own. Make the same sort of change as for hiding the quest text to the element "HudBounty".
FWIW I used a similar technique (changing various <Position> elements) to move all the HUD elements outward toward the edge of the screen so I have a lot more unobstructed screen space.
(Oh, and you need to be careful if you play on-line. Modifying stuff like this can be considered cheating I think and you might get banned. I only play single-player off-line so that doesn't affect me.)
