EDIT IN (CORRECTED):
There is also a GAMMA and a POSTPROCESSING entry off the Main Menu. It is in the OPTIONS then take GAME section off the Main Menu. The GAMMA setting might improve Contrast by either increasing or decreasing it. One of the POSTPROCESSING settings is for 1970s look, it seems to change the hues a bit, like removing the gold/green and leaning more to a pink instead. Might help some.

Probably no help here. But there are a lot of options in Dying Light game off the main menu somewhere. There are at least something like 8-10 presets, some are very colorful. I know I changed mine to one of them. Like there is an 1980s mode and so on.
Sorry haven't played much recently, I'm so dumb I still tend to look for the written manual first, there isn't any for this game. I might have to do the tutorial over or just look thru any tips somewhere. So I may not have been helpful.
It is odd, that Nvidia settings could not override. Many an Nvidia forum will say or a guide here?
