Question About The Pyza Suit

I received the Pyza Suit blueprint and made the item. I had looked in the stash bag where you can change your outfit but it wasn't there. So i found the plans and made what i thought was the Pyza suit but it crafted an item that resembles a modification for a weapon.

So i was able to move it to the equipment slots but it still does nothing. So my question is how do i use this item so the Pyza suit is equipped. My friend came on and he said he could not see the suit and I was still wearing the same outfit when it was in the equipment slot. Every video i watched about the Pyza shows people using it, you can't see it equipped and they fail to explain how to craft which i figured out and they fail to explain how to equip the suit.

The Pyza Suit isn't a outfit, it's an item, like the grappling hook. To use it, you equip it in one of your throwable weapon slots, and then select it, just like you do with the grappling hook.

When you want to use it, you activate it with the same button/key that you use to throw weapons, or the grappling hook, and the suit will activate. So jump off of something tall, and then activate the suit, and you'll start to glide.

This YT video shows the player finding the blueprint, crafting it, and then using it. The only thing you don't see is when they jump off the building, they activate the suit to start the glide.

You can also see that you will still take fall damage if you're not careful. That's why, it's VERY useful to have the forward roll skill, and use it when you near the ground after your glide, to avoid injury.
