Any PS5 controller user?
My DS4 is getting old and tattered. I wanted to know if theres any PS5 controller users. Does the PS5 controller work fine? Is there any issues at all? Playstation controllers tend to have issues on PC from stories I've heard. I have also had minor problems with my ds4 in the past.
Just wanted to know if there has been issues with the PS5 controller.

Zero replies. I'll take that as a bad answer and avoid getting the ps5 controller than.

Thanks for the reply. I've been looking up forums and some have said they're having a drifting issue or other stick related problems. Not sure if its faulty controllers or someting else.
So all is good on your side? I wanted to get more feedback from other players playing with a ps5 controller from experience to commit to buying a ps5 controller.

Yea it seems like these days controllers are purposely being made poorly. Like I said in another forum when I had an ps2 and xbox 360 those controllers last me long. For xbox I never had to had to replace my controller. Ps2 the buttons rubber part would wear out but even than only replacement controller ever.
I got money to burn so I recently bought 2 types of controllers that hopefully work. The nvidia shield and stadia google controller. Looking up plenty of reviews I was hearing good things but I'll find out myself.

This is correct and why many people decided not to buy the Switch Lite. If your sticks break, chances are you need to order a whole new switch (and they aren't exactly high quality).

Also, if you're going to use an Xbox Controller - you're better off buying an official one for 40 - 60$ instead of a knock off brand. The knock off brands WILL break in a few months (like the PDP brand).

Don't know much about the current controllers, I only have a PS4 for almost current generation consoles. However, Xbox 360 thumb sticks (analog) wore out. I tried fixing some, but more of a PITA than I liked so I bought the next one on sale.

PS3 controller, however, that was a terrible product. Their later one didn't have a connector from the input parts and the PC board inside. The cable was bent 180 degrees with its stripped end being pressed against the place a connector should have been. They seem to last 11 months (in my use). Since the warranty was 1y you generally got stuck for it. Mostly because nobody keeps the box for the controller for an entire year.

I am not looking inside the PS4 controller. Unless mine breaks.
I am not looking inside a PS5 controller. Not buying either console for now.

Doing a lot of digging and reading I decided to give the stadia controller a chance. I was reading great things about it so if anything bad I can at least mark that brand off my list to avoid. Its also not too expensive. I was almost gonna buy razor raiju and that thing is like 200 bucks.

Thanks for the input guys. It really helps when ppl give serious replies.

How durable is the razor would you say? Any buttons getting worn out? How does it work on other launchers like origin? Is it read as a mcrosoft controller or generic gamepad?
I am using a ps5 controller sometimes. It works fine in every steam game which has controller support.
Best bet for anything on PC is an Xbox controller. PS4 controllers always had some issues for me on Steam when it came e to just walking straight. But I would just recommend keyboard mouse for games like this. Unless you're chilling on your couch. But for my games that I use a controller for which are pretty much just soulslike games I bought a PowerA wired Xbox controller. Decent price and feels good. No issues. Front has a nice texture for grip. If your close to your PC wired works no problem. I switched to wired personally because losing battery in the middle of a boss fight is not fun lol
