If you look up "Dying Light Stuttering" you'll get a ton of results
well I found some videos, but basically I can do the thing that the dude did in 2015 for you and see if that works.
I don't really know what your issue is but I can probably maybe fix that for you as well. Using the same method. Just gon' need you to add me.
Well, it seems he might just be poor at explaining his issue, and support ticket for what?
Not to mention I have a potential fix I want both of them to try out. So there's that.
Not to mention the issue can be literally anything ranging from GPU to RAM to even the Motherboard or the PSU.
Well that was a quick response as I was adjusting to be inclusive.
ahaha, yeah. Only thing is that this might only be a "potential fix" so it doesn't have much ground to cover. But! It might help OP and the 2nd dude that were having issues to "mitigate" the issues from becoming more frequent until they take a closer look at their own rig.
Well yeah, but Uncy is taking a break and will be a bit more unreliable in terms of response to the discussion forum, so I thought I'd make his job easier, since I think I have a grand idea of what the issue might be for these 2.
While I agree they should probably check out their compositor or their computer, since there could literally be anything at this point. My guess would be that their Memory is too low since they might be running additional software in the background, with hardware acceleration on.
Applications that use this is Discord and internet browsers. Another application that takes a chunk of memory is Wallpaper engine since it needs to run in the background and even if you "pause" it when being full-screened it will still take a chunk of memory.
So best thing to do if they do have Wallpaper engine running is just to "stop" the live wallpaper from running while they have a game full-screened. Easily tweaked in the Softwares settings.
And also, what is DLR then? It was a "mod" which contained "edited files" worked on by Fear, which introduced changes to the BtZ mode and Techland approved it and even started implementing it in patches in the game, but stopped at the 2nd patch of DLR for some ungodly reason.
Probably due to the lack of communication between Fear and Techland and this pandemic.
But even so, it still shows that the Devs of this game are open to ideas (like reworking BtZ) to further balance the game for them.
