Volkan combat sword

Samethink very annoying and stupid just happened and it just keep repeating every time now. My old Volkan Combat Sword just brake and i got an other machete to craft it again , my machete had 2027 dmg originally then when i turned into Volkan Combat Sword its damage dropped to around 1400 ... and keeps does it every time. Doesnt matter what machete i use , turning it in Volkan combat sword just drops its damage lots. Curios fact is that i have an other older gamesave and on that one doesnt do it , only on my new gamesave .
Does anyone has any idea how to fix this ?

m9 look if you craft a lower tier weapon like volkan combat sword with a weapon with higher damage the result are always volkan combat sworde with same damage (btw english its not my first language also i play pirated fersion of dying light so there might be a diffrence)
