Completed challenges
Why is there still no notification when mousing over challenges to see if I've done it, and what my score is? Why so I have to run all the way to a challenge to see if it's been done or not?
Or am I just an ignorant dope?

I think you are right, there is no way to check challenges for completion other than by visiting them (unless someone knows otherwise). Bit of a pain.
