Using trainer in SP

Hello,

I already know I can't get VAC banned for using trainer in singleplayer (with VAC turned off).
But could I be banned for using trainer in SP - altered my stats, skills, got lots of resources etc, then turn trainer off and get back online and go play in coop with friends or just multiplayer with random players, could I be VAC-banned in this case?

as long as you dont replace game files your good, just disable vac before you do

And what do you mean by saying "replace game files"? Because I thought I just launch trainer, then game do some stuff, up level fast etc, then shut down trainer and just go back online to play multiplayer, right? So that should be safe?

You cannot be vac banned.

The game will only recognize " modified game files " on launch, but if your simply using the program to produce legitimate items originally contained in the game you'll be fine.

Careful man, cheated stuff/files will be detected in co-op 🐒 unless your partner has identicals.

Thanks for all answers guys. I know most of you must be judging me because I want easy way etc. Thing is, I've already beaten this game when it was released and now decided to buy it and try it out with friends in coop, but I don't want to spend hundreds of hours again just to level up etc, I want to max my character fast and have maximum fun of game asap, that's all. It's not like I'm gonna be using infinite ammo in MP or anything like that. My main objective is to level all four skill trees and equip some better melee weapons, and I'll go from there like any other casual player.

also im here for same question, i dont play zombie games i watched a zombie movie once liek 15 years ago and i still have nightmares from it. so i dont want to play anything scary, im very sensitive, but im trying to see if its possible to throw on god mode with cheat engine and still be safe from vac, i want to enjoy the game without fear or worry from zombies

and like you i also found out its safe in single player, but also like you i want to know what happens if i take my hacked character into a online match, cuz i am an achievement hunter and there is a coop achievement apparently. so i need to know these things

You wrote earlier it's 50/50 chance that i will get ban for going in coop or mp with altered character, in other words - you just dont know for sure. Also I also think u're being rude..

uummmm 50/50 means u might u might not ...sorry u clearly dont know what ur talking about
VAC can be hit or miss
i also said go for it
