I've also had the opposite problem in the past, where I couldn't hear the cutscene audio, or certain youtube videos as well. Seems updating my audio drivers changed my system's audio to 7.1 surround, took me a while to discover the cause, but switching my audio back to stereo fixed it.
To correct, go into your sound properties in windows (Right click on the volume icon in the task bar, select sounds then playback tab). You should have two bluetooth devices listed, one a headset and another headphones (the headphones should be set as your default device). DISCONNECT the headset (disconnect, not disable as disable does not fix the problem for some reason). You will have to do this each time you play.
That should hopefully fix your problem.
