Gold tier rifle with poison effect, is it cheated?

I just wanted to go a round in harran prison, when a guy connected to me, and after some chatting he gave me a gold tier weapon with lvl 4 poison on it, and as a lvl5 legendary skill on firearms is does around 18k dmg. I just want to ask, is it a legit or a cheated weapon. I don't want to ruin my gameplay with this gun, so if its a cheated one i'll throw it away.

Definetely cheated
The highest damage rifle is an advanced police rifle with around 1450 dmg ( 25/25 in firearms )
And the infinite ammo and elemental effect is just a dead give away

Aye the elemental makes it cheated. The damage doesn't like Blade thinks, that makes it glitched. Guns can be, very rarely, accidentally glitched into having high damage. Up to around 30k.

I know the the trader and legend level damage interaction. Noone would ever do it by ,, accident " while abusing exploits counts as cheating

You forgot to add "in my opinion". It depends on who you ask. Humans abuse exploits all the time. Everyone does. People just do it in different circumstances and pretend that it's ok to do it when it suits them. You're one of those people. And what makes it really sad is the only reason you were allowed the gift of life is because people before you abused exploits.
