Gunslinger Quest (Spoilers)
Okay, I finished this game way back when it 1st released and I remeber that helping this guy with a gun, in the near end of the game you found out he kidnapped the child and woman, or something down that line.

What happens if I do NOT do the quest and skip giving him the gun?

I am 99% sure that if you do not do the quest, it will just stay in your quests tab. You can always continue this quest, nothing will happen to Duwad (That is the guy's name I think) or the child until you give him the gun and loot the pawn shop (Sorry if I got plot details wrong but I believe nothing happens)

This side quest is like any other side quest or campaign mission, nothing will happen until you interact with the mission (going to the appropriate place, talking to an NPC) So dont worry if you think it'll cancel the side quest or change the plot differently.

Because without a gun, he can not escape. So ignoring interaction with him completely does what?

That's quite interesting. I might just start a NG+ and see what will happen if i don't interact with him, at all.

What if you also accept the quest, but you just never complete it and carry on with the story?

He will never get he's gun aswell? And the story will progress.
