WIll I get the Enhanced Edition if I buy a physical copy today?

Once I use the Steam key that it comes with will the game get upgraded to the Enhanced Edition version of the game?

I bought a physical copy of Dying Light from Amazon and it does not say anything about the Enhanced Edition, but here I am

It gives you a Steam key and the disc to install. Once you activate the key, it just gives you Dying Light Enhanced Edition because that is what the game is now; they changed it from Dying Light to Dying Light Enhanced Edition

So yes, you should get the Enhanced Edition

Enhanced Edition is name of free patch, it's not a DLC neither version of the game, simply a patch which is free to anyone owning any kind of Dying Light(There's only one). What you may not get is The Following and other DLC, if the copy is bought long ago before the Techland bundled Dying Light with all the other DLC, then you'll get Dying Light without any DLC.

If you buy Dying Light from Steam, you're 100% guaranteed to get all the DLC for free, including The Following, Bozak Horde, season pass's content and etc(Not the season pass itself).

The name of Dying Light's store page means nothing, there's only 1 version of the game, and it's whether it comes with free DLC or not.

Example:

1. You buy copy of Dying Light which was bought long ago before Techland bundled it, you get only 3 DLC, Be The Zombie, Custom Maps and Custom Maps 2. You'll have Enhanced Edition and be able to play with anyone in Campaign. Only exception is that if they enter Countryside map which is for The Following DLC, if you don't buy this DLC or season pass, you won't be able to play with them.

2. You buy a copy of Dying Light which is bundled, or to say it was bought after Techland released EE/Following and made it so whoever buys Dying Light, gets everything for free. In this case you'll get everything mentioned above, plus The Following, Bozak Horde, many other DLC, including season pass's content. The only 3 DLC you won't get no matter what even if you get season pass, because these were released after bundle, are Gun Psycho, Harran Ranger and Volatile Hunter packs, though not necessary and mostly cosmetic, these can only be bought separately.
