Crash (not responding) on startup.
Hi guys,

I used to be able to play this game but since I bought the following DLC yesterday it now crashes on startup and says not responding in my processes. I can't seem to figure out what's doing this and previous discussions haven't given me any viable options.

CPU: i7 4970k @ 4.00 Ghz
GPU: Nvidia 1070
16gb RAM
1TB Samsung EVO pro SSD.
Windows 7 64bit.

Just to confirm, have you tried restarting PC and verifying the game files?
Popemaster Jun 14, 2017 @ 10:55am
Yes Blade I have. Although I opened up Nvidia Geforce and ran the game using the play button on just "Dyling light" as it lists the following seperately and it worked. So I think it is related to the following DLC somehow.

I see, glad to see you solved it. Enjoy the game!

Well, it seems like that no longer works. I am back to having the same problem again :/ Verifying now but I doubt it will do anything.
Poppi !! Jun 16, 2017 @ 10:10am
Are you getting any error msgs or notifications when it goes down ?
Popemaster Jun 16, 2017 @ 10:41am
No I just get the "No responding" thing and a white screen sadly.
same problem here

Running it in admin mode does nothing, running in windowed mode does nothing and setting compatiblitiy for Windoes 7 (Even though I am running it in Windows 7) does nothing.

The previous method no longer works either... All this after I bought the following. Deactivating the DLC does nothing either.

Yo Pope, so try this out, hit ur windows key + R and it will pop up a window saying Run, once its opened I want you to write %temp% and click Enter, after that a windows explorer will pop up and there will be some files or alot of files in it and I want you to delete them all, yes it's safe trust me, all you gonna do is clear some temporary files and it might be a corrupted file making ur game crash, hope this helps!

Also i don't know if you ever tried this, but on your library, right click on the game and press properties and then go on local files and press verify integrity of games files and let it run, it might fix your issue.

Well it changed from a white screen not responding to a black screen without responding but still no help sadly.

This is a shame, I put 30ish hours into it when I had a much weaker PC and now it's significantly better I can't run it.

You should try restarting your computer now, its the best since you deleted some of those files, just give it a try.

Ok, I just ran it again as admin and it worked for now, will be interestering if it continues to work after closing down in a bit.

Thanks for your help Logic, I think that may have been the solver.

Hi there, I'm currently having the same issue. I too can launch custom game, but not regular.

Did you ever find a fix for this?

I did not sorry, the dev's support site was utterly useless as well so I just gave up.
