Is it possible to get the crossbow in the normal Dying Light?

Hi @all,

Is it possible to get the crossbow in the normal game without playing "The Following"? Or is it possible to travel to the maps of "The Following", get the crossbow and then travel back to the normal game with the crossbow? Would be nice to use the crossbow in the normal game.

No, you do need to play The Following.

Of course you can transfer it, as long you got the DLC and got the crossbow.

You can go back and forth from base game to the countryside(following) with your character and his entire inventory.

You DO need the following(since Xbow is following weapon) but once you get it you can bring it with you where ever you go.

And where can I travel between the main game and "The Following"?

Its in the menu.

When you start press load save instead of continue, it should offer the option for if you want to spawn in Harran or the countryside.

Yes, it is. (For example by using docket from Valentine's day.) But you won't be able to craft bolts for that.

OK, I got the upgraded crossbow in "The Following" and took it to the main game. And I can craft bolts for it in the main game.
