Can i start the following dlc with out playing the ''Main story?''
I have played the main story 2 times to the end, now i downloaded the game to my new pc, and i was thinking can i play the following dlc with out touching the main champaing?

Doesn't it say recommended level is 18 for The Following?

I haven't started it yet myself - I only bought it a couple of days ago on sale and I began a new game in the main campaign. I recall it says "recommended level for The Following is 18" which would suggest you can't just go right into it.

But maybe someone who has actually played it can give you a better answer.

As far as I know it requires some levels , since the following is the sequel of the main story. I would recommend main story first to get familiar with the game, story, zombies,etc...

The following is dlc if you have not bought it you cannot play it. But yes if you have it you can play it without doing the 1st part if you have a saved game from the 1st section.

Jump into The Following from ground zero is going to hurt...a lot. You really have to have some of the skills from the campaign.

I suggest simply starting it from the advanced menu with a game save you already have ~ everything carries over ( lvl, weapons, etc. ).
