missing a zombie statue

how could this happen? does the game save it after i collect it? (maybe i quit after one and it didnt save?)
i remember having 44/47 in slums, collected that 3, and i know i collected all in old town, still only have 96 instead of 97

double checing takes so much more effort, because i have to search for videos and see where was the statue... there is no complete guide with pictures, ign and gamesradar have a lot of missing ones

little edit: i remember changing difficulity, when i done that i didnt click on "resume" but play->campaign
can i lose progress because of that?

i made it to the antenna, its really 99/100, the main question is that the difficulity change can affect the progress

Ahhh the miseries of a completionist.

This is why I always HATE collectables, there is ALWAYS 1 and its LITERALLY the last place you look, every time without fail.

Still remember trying to find everything in GTA san andreas, freaking nightmare.

Hi there. I followed this guide:

I did some extensive tests to what is being saved on exit and what not. If you pick up a collectible and right after that you exit the game via the menu, it still saves the picked up item. However if you exit with ALT+F4 or any similar way, it won't save.

By that 3 you mean the ones from the slums or antenna? If the slums, there is a mistake somewhere cause you really should have 97 (44 + 3 + 50).

I almost fell in the same trap as you, for me the most evasive was the TWO statues from the Tower - cause there are actually 2. Same for the sewers, when you go for the Old Town. Did you collect the one with the indication: "The second is on the table in a little house to which we can get after crossing the sewers." ? This seemed a bit tricky to get to/understand.

Also some other ideas: #10 and #29 - which were locked inside due to quests. #28 deep underwater. Let us know if you've found it!

Btw for me the Lost Notes give a headache... (#29).

if its not lose progress than its have to be my fault :(
(i remember thinking a milisec about what if i didnt pick up one of it because i didnt push "f" hard enough or something, mabye its happened thats why its come to my mind)

what i mean by 44/47 is 44/100, i didnt collect 1 on a building and 2 in sewers when continued to old town, including what you wrote about a little house
so my guess the missed one is in old town, but i will check the ones you mentioned to make sure, thanks for the tips

after checked every statue in old town i knew i made a mistake in slums, and oh my god, even on my edited map i can see now the only number i didnt circled, it was #12, its closed and its open after a quest is done...
44/47 was wrong in my memory, it was 43 and i should have seen that number on my map... im an idiot, but thanks for everybody who answered and tried to help
