Dying Light forcing windows 7 basic theme on

so yeah,i have seen my fps dropping alot in dying light (45-90fps)and i know that my pc runs worse in windows basic theme than aero.does anyone know a fix for dis?

Do not get attached to W7. All support ends in January 2020.

it is switching to basic because windows detects a lack of available resources, particularly memory. but as alexbruc said windows 7 support is due to end soon so now would be the time to move to windows 10.

i used to feel the same. windows 7 was king. but once you configure windows 10 it is the better operating system

i have windows 10 running on an 8 year old pc without any issues. also i don't see any bugs that affect the user to the degree you think

You can use windows 7 key to activate windows 10.. anyway.. enjoy windows 7 while you can.

I put W10, on a Millienium, that I changed to. Xp, to W7, to W10, and I put W10 on that Pc 2 days ago.( I did have to do it twice. The installation stalled the first time. I was using disk. I don't know why). As long as you meet the basic requirements. They are pretty basic. Which are the same for all versions of W10. Also as long as you have upgraded hardware too. Which I did. When ever doing a major change to you PC like that always backup your data. I back up to an external harddrive. My game's to a backup computer.

Did you put it on two Pc's?. If you adjust down your field of view. That should help.

Did you put it on two Pc's?. If you adjust down your field of view. That should help.

i dont get it did i but it on 2 pc's?

Do you have the game on two computers? Adjust your field of view down in the game.
