no.. you can thank your lack of dedication to learning when to attack and how to avoid being dispatched quickly.
I'll admit that I'm rather new to the mode (only unlocked the first mutation so far) and that I wrote a lot more than I needed to, but my main point is: The survivors can dodge nearly all of your attacks, while the Hunter can dodge almost none of the theirs, which can get really frustrating.
That and how little the mutations give you for how much you have to do for them, since you're never getting any more health, better resistance to bullets, etc. Especially since the first mutation looks thougher, being covered in thick scales and all, but not being able to take any more hits than a level 1 hunter.
