There is a similar event that triggers a quest[guides.gamepressure.com] in the coastal part of the slums, but it is not linked to other quests, though.
Well it's still neat that we have one little less obvious event, fun discovering such things while exploring.
Yeah I know about that quest, also when I was googling for secret quests I was amused to notice that people sometime miss that in the Witch Queen quest you actually need to drink the concoctions each time to progress.
You know what would be cool to have in the game? Quests starting by finding the notes in the game, along with talking to certain characters.
A lot of them refer to events that will or are about to happen
This.
I love how quest system works in Fallout/Elder Scrolls series:
- NPCs can start quests;
- Reading notes can start quests;
- Getting items can start quests;
- Killing an enemy can start quests;
- Events in the story can start quests;
- Quests can start quests;
But I do believe Dying Light is not about quests anyway. The format is more of a set of missions than quests.
