How do I access "Prison Heist"?

Hi, just have the core game, do I need "The Following" dlc?

Simply select Prison Heist in your quest log, be in Campaign. Then follow it.

I haven't played it yet, so I can't tell details sorry.

Once you select the DLC Prison from your quest tab, you will see a waypoint to a boat docked on the otherside of the bridge. The boat has a "poster" like Bozak and that will take you there.

After you are done you will select the campaign from the load main menu and go to advanced to return to the main campaign.

Now a "poster" will appear right next to the Bozak poster in the towers safe house. You only need that boat at first.

The name of the quest is not "Prison Heist", or it least it wasn't by the day the update came.

It is called "Harran Prison", and is located in the Repeatable Quests category.

No, you don't need it. The update is part of the free content campaign that everyone who owns the base game is eligible to get.
