It can help, but the best thing to do on low end is set everything to low and remove shadows from your game files. A ReShade will help a little bit but removing shadows will help the most.

I don't think it will help, I mean it's supposed to make graphics better, right?

Also I couldn't install it due to virustotal detecting it as virus, and then it simply kept giving me errors. Can't remember which game it was for.

Some reshades do help with FPS, but not drastically.

Did you download it from the official [reshade.me] website?

You wanna say that if I turn off shadows just in game that doesn't mean it's off 100%? I can change that in files and my FPS will increase?

If you turn off shadows in the game files in documents/DyingLight/out/Settings or something like that, you can completely disable shadows and still have online access. I'm not sure if that's the exact location for it, but it should be around there. It is similar to the higher FOV method. Turning off shadows will help a lot with low end though.

Yup. That's the one, it gave me errors and then virus was detected on it.

You should set all visual settings to lowest setting and forget the reshader. Don.t forget that foliage eats FPS nearly as much as shadows, so knock it wayyyy down.
