Oh brother where art thou

I have comleted this side quest many time but I have never experinced the following. I am in nightmare mode as well.

This all happens when I jump down on to the boxes and await the virals.

1) I move slightlty screen left, all my stamina goes and it doesn't come back.

After I have quit, re-started and veryfied game files

2) the screen goes green, all of it and I can hear Crane panting, yep, he is still out of stamina.

Main Menu > Play > Campaign > Save > Advanced > Restart From Quest > Select desirable story mission.

Make sure you're not tracking Bozak Horde, Prison Heist or DLC based quarantine zone or restart, difficulty and NG+ options won't show up.
