Rocky Riverbed volatile nest?!

Just completed The Thrill of the Chase: A Rocky Riverbed quest. The cave is suppose to be nothing special, just a screamer inside. But at top near here is a house you can break a window and go into. Found a drop into a cave there. Lo and Behold it was either the remenants of a old volatile or beginning of a new nest. There were about 4 or 5 voliates in there and those soupy meat pools the 'queens' are in were empty.
Has anyone been there? Just wondering cause can't find anything on it and it isn't listed as a nest. Wondering if that is one of those that was starting? Maybe I destroyed it before it could happen?!

This nest is part of the "Find Sabit" questline, you go to the cabin for his medicinal herbs and end up finding him barely alive turning into a volatile, once you kill him out of mercy the nest is destroyed and you can complete the quest.

Oh, so the volatiles were left over from that. I don't think I ran into that quest so the time must have ran out on it. That explains it then. Thanks.

its a story quest so you will have to do it one way or another, and they are not left over since you havent done it yet and what are you talking about the time ran out for that quest? Story progression does not lock you out of quests.
