Hard is almost like the real normal.
Yes your right.
That is bad game design.
It makes first time playthroughs on hard or nightmare....well a nightmare. Since those playing first time might not know where everything is.
Though I don't know about hiding enemies, that would make night time strolls more pain in the ass then they are worth, though maybe add to the immersion.
The argument we have on another thread is about weapon degradation, I don't know what they were even thinking with this.
I mean, I guess they did not want to simply get rid of survivor sense on harder difficulty? or make it item only(though dodging volatiles would be a pain in the ass).
This games does have flaws, I have no arguments on that front.
