Weird right stick drifting when using PS4 controller
For whatever reason the right stick drifts in any direction at random when moving it, no matter what settings I change in Steam. I wasn't holding the stick when I plugged it in, and there's never been any actual drifting with the hardware itself. It mostly drifts up and to the left by default, but if I move it down and to the right when I let go it drifts up and to the right. It can drift in various directions depending on how I move it.

I thought maybe it was Steam or my controller, so I checked on my PS4 and with a different game I had installed currently (Alan Wake) and there was no problem. I also don't have anything else plugged in, like a mouse.

Is there something jank with the settings with this particular game?

Controller issues have come up often. A forum search might give you a quick fix.

All of the searches just give me questions with no answers besides "adjust dead zones" which doesn't fix it, and "why are you using a controller on PC". If you're so certain that a search will give me answers, why did you just tell me to search instead of linking me to a post with a fix?

Cause, I'm not the one looking for a solution, you are. I have other things to do than searches for you.

So why even reply? You may not be the one looking for a solution, but if you're replying it's implied that you're here to offer a solution. "I don't know, look it up" is not a solution. You're just wasting time.

Unfortunately I already plug my controller in and never use bluetooth for it.

That's the Steam forums for you. I never did find a solution either. Just bought it on console instead.
