can anyone else with the same Type of card confirm what you hear ?
as i always say : "Physics is the same for everyone" .
i have AMD , you have a Particular Nvidia card . can anyone else with the same
Type of card confirm your results ?

some mother boards might still , have a small pizo-electric quartz tiny speaker .
it would be unusual if the a sound stream got re-directed to it .

can you confirm your mother board has No pizo-electric quartz speaker ?

please re-post your GPU , i don't see it listed here anymore .

My new card is the asus strix 2080 super oc, my motherboard is asus strix z390-f, cant find any info on a piezo speaker

So 3 cards have had the issue. Msi rtx 2080 gaming x trio. Evga rtx 2080 super ftw hybrid. Asus strix rtx 2080 super oc. So this makes me think it must be a different part doing it

The fact its only happening on this game has made me give up trying.

what other graphically intensive games have you tried.. just DL? by this I mean games that use a lot from the gpu... mhw?

It is strange that you say only DL is doing it, but sill.

..it's not the power supply, is it?

Other games would be farcry 4,5,new dawn. Cod bo3, bf5 and a load of early acess games no other games do it. Could be psu but sounds like gpu area when i try listening where its coming from

can you take a screen shot of the DL location , looking at the Lights .
put it in your Steam Profile Artwork so we can Go their in DL and and
a listen .

Right now , i am at gas station Taurus , safe area .
plenty of neon lights and at night , plenty of UV lamps .

motherboards might have a speaker , for BIOS beep codes .

main system Power Supply is a switching Power supply .
motherboard also has a switching power supply .
video cards use switching power supply .

All that has potential to produce noise in audio
and unwanted oscillation ,
such as coil or cap whine
in any of those 3 pieces , for any particular situation .

refresh our bubble memories .
if you are using head phones ,
do you still hear the buzz from inside your case ?
with the headphones set a side and muted on the
headset itself . or better yet ,
in Game menu Mute game audio .
Does the buzz still occur while Game audio is muted ?
That's 2 questions there .
