Is there a way to lock the “Run Toggle”?
I am absolutely loving the game after 32 hours, and expect that I will get several hundred out of it.

However, I have to say the most annoying thing is having to punch the “Run Toggle” every time I switch direction. It automatically changes back to “walk” if I stop to slap a zombie and change direction, which is a PITA when trying to play the dodging game.

Anybody know how to lock run on?

Simply hold the Sprint button, that's what I've been doing.

Yeah, looks like I need to get used to using another finger while attempting to use three others to Move Forward, Run, Jump, and Elbow! :)

Thanks for the feedback folks.

Hi, so there is a way but it's rather complicated. It's a glitch. I sometimes use it for covering large distances in the following while doing something else with my hands.

What you need to do, start running. Then, while sprinting, hit ALT+TAB and the window will minimize or go inactive. You can let go of the sprint key or keys now. Now reopen the game from the taskbar or by selecting it in the alttab menu. It should reopen now, and your character should be sprinting straight, even if you are not pressing any keys. Pressing a direction key will reset this though.

Not sure how helpful this is but I guess I can mention it.

A little tip, after starting to sprint in a direction, you just need to hold shift to keep going, not W or whatever key you are using for forward. A quick question: are you lefthanded? Whenever my lefthanded sister plays this game, she just walks everywhere because shift is hard to reach for her.
