The only difference is paid DLC which base game doesn't contain. The Enhanced Edition will contain paid DLC such as The Following, Bozak Horde and etc, generally it'll contain all the season pass's content as well, therefore Enhanced Edition is best version to buy for full experience.
But it's possible to purchase base game now, play the game normally and purchase season pass later whenever you can, having base version won't prevent you from playing with others if they own Enhanced Edition, unless they're in Bozak Horde or another map called Countryside which is for The Following DLC.
Really?? D*mn my causin said there difference and make me buy enhanced...well atleast i got good dlc ;v
You can just upgrade next sale....
I see. So I've 14.99$ in wallet. Should I get the base game + season pass ? I want to make the most of it
Yes, that is also an option. However, you don't need to be hurry with season pass, you can grab it later whenever you want, preferably after you finish Campaign and decide whether you enjoy the game enough to continue playing in The Following or not, this'd be the best time I suppose.
The paid DLC doesn't add much into Campaign, it's mostly oriented on The Following, which is similar to second game with new play through, but added into Dying light inside and both merged together, but The Following is not accessed through Campaign, it is done from Main Menu, therefore and since The Following is continuation of Campaign, the order would be finishing Campaign first before starting The Following, you don't need to buy it right now. I've personally over 1,000 + hours into Campaign, it's quite big depending on how one plays through it and whether they rush or not, you may clock at least 150 hours in maximum, unless you decide to play invasions which can add a lot of play time to your Campaign.
So buying season pass now would be optional. I hope you understand well from my text since English isn't my main langauge and I'm not very good at it.
Besides that, it's worth noting that buying any DLC won't force you to start over or something like that, also you use your own charater from Campaign in The Following as well and you'll be freely able to jump into both play throughs simultaneously at your will. You won't be locked out in any way.
Buy season pass if you have enaugh money...if not buy base and season pass in later sale
I got the base game. Will buy the DLCs in the next sale. So far I'm enjoying it. I couldn't find any co-op servers though (maybe its a problem on my side, crap ISP). No push to talk is the only flaw I've found so far, I mean its a basic feature that this game lacks ! well Discord FTW ! :) appreciate the help ! thank you ! :)
Not sure where you heard this, but it's not true. Enhanced Edition simply contains paid DLC while original doesn't, there's no such thing as graphics difference or features. Base game simply won't be able to play in The Following or Bozak Horde, the game itself will be same.
Thank i just want the base game but i was afraid thta i would not get the enhanced graphics without getting the enhanced edition
