Barbed Messer - Is It A DLC Weapon?

I saw someone with a weapon called the Barbed Messer. Is this a weapon from a download, special docket, blueprint from a challange? I cannot seem to find any good information on this.

Haven't heard about this one before, I suppose this is one of the weapons that are only available via inventory editing, like nunchaku is?

I'm really hoping that Techland will add these weapons in the game, would love to have nunchaku legitimately obtainable.

Do you by chance know the actual name of the weapon and which Survivor skill-tree rank it is available at? I've opened hundreds of Bozak dockets but haven't seen this one.

It’s also known as a curved falcion but I’ve never seen or heard of a legit one.

I wondered if it was a legit weapon or not. I did not think it was but there are a number of dlc weapons that I do not have or know about so I was not sure.

Just seen it, I'm suspecting it could be one of The Following's low Survivor skill-tree rank weapons?

But the 4/3 upgrades is definitely not legit.

Nope, VAC doesn't scan save files and it doesn't even work properly in Dying Light so you have absolutely no chance of getting banned, but I'd recommend trashing it unless you're fine with cheated weapons, up to you.

Yeah I am getting rid of them. I do not mind finding and using exploits for vanilla material, but I just do not go with non legit stuff. There is plenty of good vanilla stuff to kill zombies all day long. :)
