Silenced Pistol Ammo
Not sure if its a bug, but I play the game on nightmare and have looted well over 20 police vans (very hard locks) in each of the 3 maps and have not found a single bullet for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing. I've tried changing difficulties, playing with friends, playing solo, having my friends pick the locks. Nothing has worked. I have 2 bullets from crafting both pistols. Anyone else have this issue?

lol, dont think they stack with normal pistol ammo either, so if you have a full inventory of normal pistol ammo, don't think you can pick it up

Nope I have pistol ammo and found the ammo for the silenced pistol. It's just rare as it should be..

I'm not sure that it's working properly for me if I havent found anything after around 6 hours of searching. Unless it's a less than 1% chance to get it I should've found at least a clip by now

.... It should be rare? Do you know how suppressors work? It's idiotic.

Yes it should be rare and yes it's well known that subsonic ammo is not required irl. The difference in ammo is balance. Firearms, even handguns, are very powerful when compared to melee weapons. They can fire at range, are accurate, and if you aren't ♥♥♥♥ at aiming you can get a kill per bullet. If you could simply buy suppressed ammo, there'd be no danger.

Except against the most cheater of the cheater enemies in all game history Volatiles, isn't?

I swear, I'm at Legend level 4 with two upgrades in firearms (+20% DMG) and two in melee.
I fired a full load of my purple Engraved Semi-Automatic Shotgun - 8 shots - at the bastard and nothing happens.
The weapon is doing around 3500 DMG per shot, almost everything I kill with only one shot, tankers need two, but Volatiles? Pfff.

Unless I pump myself with boost resistence and keep firing on the fu***, nothing work on those guys.

I get it, they are suppose to be tough but this is ridiculous!

Depends on the difficulty. On hard* it takes me about 6-8 swings with a 2600 damage weapon. That's 15-20k, roughly, health. If you power swing it takes even less hits.

A suppressed handgun for me does over 1000 damage. One magazine could kill a volatile, much less if I get headshots.

Normal scrub here - tried fighting Volatiles in the Following.
Stats - 14 legend, firearms and melee damage both at 4 if i recall correctly.
Firearm - shotgun, 2550 damage
Melee - about 2100 damage katana(angel sword)

Melee - 2 hits in the head, about 3 for alphas
Ranged - 2 head shots, same for alpha

Going melee with them is simply not worth it.

About silenced weapon and ammo, honestly it's totally useless because of its rarity

Ìt is worth it. Regular volatiles can't see you when you're camoflauged. Get a power hit in and then finish them off with a few regular swings if the power swing doesn't instant kill them. They'll be lucky to get even one hit in themselves.

Seriously RIP legendary pistol.... 4 hours of hunting police vans found 1 round of ammo. Whatever just uses my Korek 2.0 with 4 king mods = 2200 dmg 1 handed. So whatever.
