Is Kyle Cranes story over?

In my opinion I think he lived because when you look at the ending scene in dying light: The Following, you see kids playing outside and a really happy mom (especially since it's the apocalypse) and kids, which makes me think, is he just just passed out and dreaming that he became a volatile (less likely)


Or, maybe it's him having some sort of hallucination. I say that because The Mother didn't stop attacking his mnd, even after she 'died'. which in my opinion means shes punishing him by showing him how she felt when it happened and he doesn't realize it.


If he did die though, I hope that Dr. Camden finds a cure. Which, he probably will since he said a cure if definitly in site.

maybe in dying light 2 you play another character an you have to find a cure and at the end you turn the nighthunter back to Kyle crane.

hopefully in the dying light 2 they find him as a zombie and there is a cure to "uninfect" him
and turn him back to normal in dying light 3 he is main character. (probaly not)
